Monday Night Meals for the Community January 2nd, 5:45 - 7:00 pm
Sit Down with a Stranger, Stand Up with a Friend, Monday Night Meals for the Community!
On the first Monday of the month from 5:45 - 7 pm,
organizer and “chef” Kim Lewis along with many
volunteers will cook a dinner for the Tucker area
folks who wish to attend. This opportunity in for
anyone who wishes to attend and is free. Every
community needs a time and place to come together.
This is especially true during these challenging days.
What better way to do this than with warm food
around tables in friendship and laughter and new
connections, networking with and befriending people
who one did not even know before the dinner?
Won’t you join us?

Special Sunday Worship January 8th, 10:55 am A Celebration of Giving Our Gifts to the King
I am happy to announce that we have fulfilled our apportionment giving for the first time
since 2004. This could not have happened without the sacrificial giving and efforts of all
of you. This is something to be especially proud of in these hard economic times. My
heartfelt gratitude goes out to you all. Thank you for stepping up in your giving to make
this happen. When we support to the missions of the larger church, we are giving to many
important ministries. It shows we are truly UNITED Methodists, believing in our church,
and together—doing things we could not do alone.
In honor of our achievement, our District Superintendent – Rev. Dana Everhart will come
to celebrate this milestone with us. Please make every effort to be here and join the
celebration.
