LRUMC Calendar of EventsVBS PlanningMay 7th at 7:00 pm Save the Date for VBS 2008 - June 9-13 with a kick-off Beach Party on Saturday, June 7th. This year's Beach Party theme is sure to be a big hit with the kids as they surf through the scriptures and ride the wave of God's love. They will go home with new "Beach Be-Attitudes" every day. Be Obedient, Be Kind, Be Forgiving, Be Bold, and Believe. As we begin organizing this year's Bible School, please let us know as soon as possible if you are willing to help. We need your time and your prayers. We have also put together a short list of items we will need this year. Please label anything that you wish to be returned to you. If you will need to use the items before hand but can loan them to us for the week of VBS, please just email or call Sharon at 770-938-9046, aljollay@bellsouth.net. Registration forms will be available in the church office, so please register your children early and pass some out to your neighbors and friends. Thanks in advance for your support.

Trustees Meeting May 22nd at 7:00 pm The Trustees Committe will meet in the Education building on May 22nd at 7:00 pm. J.O.Y. Club May 22nd at 12:00 pm All women of the church are invited to J.O.Y. Club on Thursday, May 22nd at 12:00 pm. The J.O.Y. Club will be traveling to Juliette, Georgia to the Whistle Stop Café for lunch and sight-seeing. Cost for lunch will be on your own from the menu - price ranges from $6 - $9 plus drink, tax & gratuity. The bus will leave the church at 10:30 am, with the cost being $7. Please call the church to make a reservation by May 19th . It is imperative for the bus and the restaurant. We will return to the church by 3:00 pm. Ad Council May 25th at 12:15 pm Ad Council will meet on Sunday, May 25th at 12:15 pm after the sevice and will include a light lunch. Please join us!
