What To EXPECT AT LRUMC

At LRUMC we understand that visiting a new church can be intimidating. There are so many unknowns: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? Will I be called out during the service? Do others look like me?

Although we have a traditional setting, we want you to feel comfortable at LRUMC. Our goal is for you to focus on the service and fellowshipping with people who love you just the way you are. It isn't uncommon to see people in slacks and a shirt, while Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best". We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

Getting to Lawrenceville Road United Methodist is very easy. We're on the main Lawrenceville Highway, less than 1/2 mile from I-285. We have spacious parking and even have special reserve parking for all our visitors. Our friendly hospitality team will welcome you with a smile and make you feel right at home. We will not force you to sit up front and will not call you out in the service. We have free, safe nursery care during our services, special programming for children and even interpretative service for the hearing impaired. Our entire campus is wheelchair accessible.

By the way, there is no pressure on you putting money in the offering. Should you feel led, you are welcomed to give, Otherwise just let the offering plate pass you by.

Light refreshments are provided at the end of each worship service. You will be our guest at LRUMC and it would be our honor to mingle with you during this time. Better yet, join us for our Super Suppers on Wednesday evenings or our free community meal on the first Monday evening of every month. We promise it has great food and a great atmosphere.
