Trinity Community Ministries program is a
highly structured residential, transitional program
that focuses on breaking the cycle of homelessness.
It helps homeless men with substance abuse issues
remain drug-free, gain and maintain employment,
and enter permanent housing. Residents progress
through this program in 9-24 months. We are a
T.E.A.M. Dinner Host and prepare a meal for 20
men once a month (1st Fri.) , deliver it, and dine
with residents. Other volunteer programs are
Mentorship, literacy, job readiness, book club,
computer skills,etc.
I ask for volunteers to prepare the meals
from the Fellowship and Discovery Sunday school
classes, and also from the congregation. The
program says over 70% of residents obtain and
maintain full time employment, 60% remain drugfree,
and 50% are financially independent and enter
permanent housing. They are located at 250
Georgia Ave.SE, Suite 305, Atlanta, Ga. 30312. If
you or your Sunday school class are interested in
helping please contact Pheobie Mynard (7-938-
6685).
