Children's Ministry

Children's Sunday School

Sunday School classes for children are offered from 9:45 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. every Sunday. We use Cokesbury, Rock Solid literature. Children are taught Bible truths and how to apply those truths to their everyday life.

Children's Church

It’s great for our kids to learn and worship together in Children’s Church, but at some point, it’s good for them to learn to attend worship with their ‘big’ church family. Children’s Church is for kids, K-3. The current nursery age will remain in that group for now, but we hope to grow a younger children’s church as well. Most of our current children are in these categories, but often, older children are attending as well and we would love to have them worship in the sanctuary. We also look forward to inviting our Children’s Church kids to come for Holy Communion on first Sundays. Let’s welcome them with God’s hospitality.

Children's Moment

Children are welcome to join the adults in the church service for the beginning of the worship hour. They are invited to the front of the church for a children's moment and are then excused to go the Children's church or the nursery in the Education Building.

Children's Events

Special activities are planned throughout the year: After school program focusing on Arts and Crafts and Bible Stories. Runs August to May - Mondays only Easter Egg Hunt. Late March or early April. Vacation Bible School. A week of fun and learning in July. Halloween Carnival. Spooky fun and festivities in October.
